3D Visualisation
Stratos3D is a real time 3D rendered situation awareness toolset. 3DVISCAP increases user understanding of complex environments by providing visualisation of historic, current and future situations, including sensitivity analyses.
The capability has already been demonstrated in the Command and Control of Autonomous Vehicles, and for training operators in dynamically changing environments which are inherently difficult to visualise from existing 2D display formats.
Stratos3D has been used to exploit the comparison and exploitation of 3D imagery gained from Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Light Imaging, Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) with captured 2D imagery in order to provide rapid environmental assessment of features and position recognition.
